Northern Liberties Fundraising Committee. The Northern Liberties Neighborhood Association will hold a meeting so the fundraising committee can explore new avenues for NLNA events and program funding.

The Zoot Suit in American Culture. The University of Pennsylvania History Department will present the history of the zoot suit, “embraced by African American, Latino, working-class youth, and “swing kids” in the 1940s”—and eventually led to controversies after the zoot suit riot in Los Angeles.
