FLORENCE, SC –

Chick-Fil-A  on South Irby Street  in Florence partnered with the Florence Fire Department today for their annual Fire Safety Family Night event.

Children were able to interact with local firemen, meet the famous Chick-Fil-A cow, and have access to a plethora of information pamphlets about fire safety.

“We like to host these kinds of events to educate and promote family togetherness,” said Kim Drummond, who helped organize the event.

 The Fire Safety Family Night event is still fairly new to the community, and was originally hosted during the introduction of Chick-Fil-A’s spicy chicken sandwich.

The event proved to be yet another success, as children enjoyed taking pictures with the Chick-Fil-A cow, and customers were able to sign a “thank you” card that was later given to the firemen of the Florence Fire Department.
