Kearney Courier
While we couldn’t fit in everybody’s photo, we squeezed in as many as we could from the snow days in this week’s edition.
There are also stories about efforts to clear roads, restore power and save lives during the last snowstorm. When school finally resumed, buses had trouble getting down one road in Holt. Also find out when students will make up the snow days Kearney R-1 School District.
There is some content not related to the snow. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, The Kearney Courier has you covered. There are preview stories for the Kearney High School play and an evening of Cowboy song and poetry as a fundraiser for the Explorer’s Post. There are also plenty of events listed in the Community Calendar like the weekly fish fry.
In sports, read about the Kearney High School girls basketball team’s district title. Also in sports, read about how the winter weather is affecting spring sports practice.
It’s hard to believe with snow on the ground, but there are garage sales listed in the classifieds section (B6) of this week’s edition.
All this and more is in the March 7 edition of The Kearney Courier.
