An AIM listed Oil Gas business are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support the mobilisation of a major project within their EMEA operation.

Based at the London City office, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and work closely with the incumbent Finance Manager. You will also manage a team of 2 project finance staff and as such previous management experience is essential.

You will be a advanced Excel user, previous experience of the Energy or Natural Resources sector and Oracle accounts is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

– Solely responsible for the management accounts, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets of specific divisions allocated.

– Manage the accounts preparation to ensure it is completed timely and accurately.

– Highlight any key variances in the monthly accounts, forecasts and budgets, comparing to latest forecast and prior years.

– Prepare detailed flash PL for specific divisions, highlighting key variances.

– Establish the Key Performance Indicators for the business and ensure these are produced, reported and discussed on a monthly basis.

– Work with cash book and purchase ledger to ensure all entries are correctly coded at first point of entry.

– On-going development of reporting processes and information provided.

– Management of the balance sheet and ensure monthly reconciliations are performed and authorised.

– Monthly and weekly project cash flow modelling
