Troy Aikman has quietly taken his house off the market. The former Cowboys quarterback owns one of the great Highland Park homes, a Mediterranean mansion designed by the current go-to architect for Park Cities 1 percenters, Larry Boerder.
When he originally listed the property for $24 million, it included the one-acre lot he next door that he annexed after razing the house that had stood there.
Last spring, he sold that adjoining lot and dropped the ask for his house to $14 million. While the sale price of the lot was not disclosed, one acre of Highland Park land ain’t cheap, so it must have added significantly to the Fox Sports analyst’s liquidity. He has since let his listing for the big house lapse.
