BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College Athletic Department has
announced several changes to weekend sporting events due to the
anticipation of poor weather.
All of this weekend’s events, including changes, are listed
below. The latest updates will be posted here, when available.

Men’s and
Women’s Basketball
The Bowdoin College basketball teams have announced
schedule changes due to the impending winter storm scheduled to hit
New England on Friday and Saturday.
Friday’s games have been moved to Sunday and game times have been
adjusted.
Bowdoin will play at Connecticut College on Saturday with the men
scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. start and women slated for a 7:00 p.m.
tip-off. The Polar bears will play at Wesleyan on Sunday with the
men starting at 2:00 p.m. and the women scheduled for 4:00
p.m.
Women’s
Ice Hockey
In anticipation of this weekend’s winter storm, the
Bowdoin College women’s ice hockey team has moved its Friday
evening game against Hamilton College to a 6:00 p.m.
face-off.
Saturday’s game against Hamilton is still scheduled for a
3:00 p.m. start as originally scheduled.
Men’s Ice
Hockey
The Bowdoin College men’s ice hockey team’s game at
Wesleyan scheduled for Friday evening has been postponed until
Sunday. Sunday’s contest will be a 4:30 p.m. start in
Middletown.
The team will play at Trinity, as scheduled, on Saturday afternoon
at 4:00 p.m.
Men’s and
Women’s Track Field
Boston University has canceled the Valentine’s Day
Invitational scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
Nordic
Skiing
The nordic ski races originally scheduled for Oak Hill, N.H.
have been moved to Craftsbury, Vt. Races will begin at 11:00 a.m.
on Friday and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Men’s and
Women’s Squash
The Division III Individual Squash Championship scheduled
for this weekend at Bowdoin College has been canceled. There are no
plans to reschedule.
Men’s and
Women’s Swimming
No changes have been announced to Saturday’s swim meet at Colby
as of yet. A decision on a later start time is expected to be
announced on Friday.
