A clifftop house with a unique design of three wedges has been listed for sale in the coastal town of San Remo, Victoria.
Linda Richardson – a retired company director – has listed her five-bedroom, four-bathroom home with an asking price of $5.5 million.
Perched above the cliffs on the Anderson Peninsula on an 8.57-hectare block, the 1990 house was designed by architect Ermin Smrekar.
The property boasts 360-degree views of Bass Strait, Cape Woolamai and Kilcunda.
One of the five bedrooms is a loft and is reached via a ship’s ladder.
Other features of the property include high ceilings, four fireplaces and a potbelly stove in the main lounge room.
The property also boasts a north facing swimming pool and spa.
Located on Punchbowl Road, the home has been listed by Matt Davis from Kay Burton in conjunction with South Coast First National Real Estate agent Russell Wilson.
Among architect Ermin Smrekar’s other works since migrating from Trieste, Italy, was an elegant early 1980s house on North Road, Brighton.
Linda Richardson was a director of Carrol and Richardson, the textile and flag manufacturers.
