Cindy and Howard Rachofsky have a very famous home in Dallas, a 10,000-square-foot Richard Meier-designed mansion that houses the couple’s massive collection of Arte Povera, modern, and contemporary art — it even has its own website. So when the couple recently listed a house at 5911 Glendora Avenue for $2.7 million, many people thought they were selling the Rachofsky House. Turns out, the couple is actually selling their other modernist mansion across town.

The Rachofskys are giving up the 5,800-square-foot, Lionel Morrison-designed home to move into the Rachofsky House at 8605 Preston Road, full time. Until now, it was largely used to display their collection, which includes  works by Donald Judd, Mark Grotjahn, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Alighiero Boetti, Piero Manzoni, Richard Prince, and others.

It’s probably safe to assume that no art comes with the house, but you can peek at some of the work hanging on the walls of this lesser-known family home at the website of Sotheby’s realtors Briggs Freeman.
