Two north Kent schools were among the top 100 secondary schools according to GCSE results from summer 2012.
Wilmington Grammar School for Boys and Gravesend Grammar School both received 100 per cent A* to C grades in last year’s results.
Dartford Grammar School (boys) and Dartford Grammar School for Girls each received 98 per cent A* to C grades.
While the grammar schools continued to get top grades in 2012, north Kent’s independent schools saw results plummet.
Cobham Hall received 43 per cent A* to C grades, falling from 72 per cent in 2011 and 100 per cent in 2010.
At Gad’s Hill, 58 per cent of students achieved A* to C grades, down from 74 per cent in 2011 and 100 per cent in 2010.
Schools achieving their highest ever results since 2009 included Leigh Technology Academy (61%), Longfield Academy (51%) and Northfleet Technology College (52%).
At the bottom end of the league table was Swan Valley Community School which received 24 per cent A* to C grades and was among the 20 worst performing schools.
In the A Level results league tables, also released today, Dartford Grammar School was listed in the top 100 secondary schools according to 2012 grades.
