Grand Theft Auto 5 has been listed for PC by Amazon France.

The Rockstar Games sequel has not been confirmed for the platform, but the online retailer appears to have started taking pre-orders for it nonetheless.

Amazon’s French site has a history of leaking upcoming gaming releases, though the listing could have been put up in error.

Grand Theft Auto 5 has only been confirmed for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but an online petition to bring the game to PC has attracted more than 140,000 signatures.

Announced in October 2011, Grand Theft Auto 5 will take place in Los Santos, which is loosely based on present-day Southern California.

The game features three protagonists – Trevor, Franklin and Michael – who all have their own personality, skill set and social circles to interact with that contribute to the game’s overall story.

Rockstar is yet to announce an official release date for the game, but has confirmed that it will land some time after March.
