Hartford’s Ramada Plaza hotel up for sale

Hartford’s Ramada Plaza hotel is back on the sales block, a little more than a year after a South Korean realty firm bought the property out of foreclosure.

The 350-room hotel, built in 1973, has been listed for sale by Atlanta hotel brokerage firm Hunter, with an asking price of $13.3 million.

The 15-story structure has undergone several renovations over the last few decades and is owned by South Korean investment firm Magilink Group, which took over the property about a year ago.

Magilink Group took over ownership of the Ramada hotel from CHOA Vision LLC, which filed for bankruptcy in 2010 and eventually lost the building to foreclosure.

Bids on the property are due by Jan. 31, according to Hunter.
