A national magazine is lending a hand to plug events suitable for learning disabled people in Mendip.
Time Out magazine and charity Netbuddy are putting together an online what’s on guide of events accessible to people with learning disabilities or autistic.
Clubs, theatre workshops, live music venues, autism-friendly film screenings, special needs yoga classes and more will be featured. No date for when the guide will go live has been given.
The publicity vehicle comes about from councils having to close day services due to money cuts.
But the what’s on service will only work if organisers are told of relevant events. Send any information to sophie@netbuddy.org.uk.
