Cornerback Chris Johnson listed as doubtful after sitting out third …

Tight end Dennis Pitta is probable and defensive end Pernell McPhee is questionable for the Ravens’ Sunday contest at the San Diego Chargers.

Pitta, who passed his baseline neurological test after suffering a concussion in the first quarter of Sunday night’s 13-10 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, was limited in practice for the third consecutive day, but he is expected to play against the Chargers.

McPhee has also participated on a limited basis for three straight days, but he is listed as questionable. He has missed the last three games because of a knee injury.

Cornerback Chris Johnson did not practice for the third consecutive day after straining his hamstring against the Steelers. He is doubtful for Sunday.

A number of players have practiced on a limited basis all three days, but they are listed as probable. They are strong safeties Bernard Pollard (ribs) and James Ihedigbo (neck), free safety Ed Reed (shoulder), outside linebacker Terrell Suggs (shoulder/Achilles tendon), defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (right knee/right shoulder), wide receiver Jacoby Jones (ankle), inside linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (toe, thumbs), tight end Ed Dickson (knee) and nose tackle Terrence Cody (left elbow).

Three players participated fully for the third straight day and are probable for Sunday. They are right guard Marshal Yanda (right ankle/right knee), inside linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo (shoulder) and outside linebacker Courtney Upshaw (shoulder).

The Chargers may be forced to play without starting left guard Tyronne Green, who has not practiced all week because of a hamstring injury and is listed as doubtful. Rex Hadnot is listed as Green’s backup on San Diego’s depth chart.

Defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin was limited by a knee injury for the second consecutive day and is questionable for Sunday.

A pair of starters in right guard Louis Vasquez (ankle) and strong safety Atari Bigby (shoulder) fully practiced Friday and are listed as probable. Punter Mike Scifres (right ankle) fully participated for the third straight day and is also probable.

Punt returner Eddie Royal (hamstring) is out. Starting free safety Eric Weddle is listed as Royal’s backup or the Chargers could turn to former Ravens cornerback Chris Carr, who is already the team’s primary kick returner.
