Parents of singers Jessica and Ashley Simpson have listed their Encino home in California for $3.995 million. The mansion was listed for sale in the first week of October.

“Encino”,  located at 3830 Hayvenhurst Dr, Encino CA 91436, was bought by the couple in 2001 for $2.1 million. The couple announced its divorce last month and that is the reason for the decision to list the home, reports Zillow.com. The couple is originally from Texas. Both act as their daughters’ managers.

The total area of the plush mansion is about 1.5 acres which includes a pool, spa, waterfall, a vintage fireplace and tennis court. The Encino is described as “storybook country English”, reports zillow.com. The home also consists of living spaces with vaulted ceilings and intricate designing. There are six bedrooms, out of which three are suites. “Encino” also has a home theater, office and a high quality kitchen.

Meanwhile, Joe Simpson was in the news recently for all the wrong reasons apart from the divorce. According to Daily News, the couple is getting divorced after rumors of Joe’s sexuality surfaced. The reports allege that Joe Simpson is gay. Apparently, Joe Simpson has been dating a male model Bryce Chandler Hill, a 21-year-old,  for nearly a year.

Tina Simpson has signed a million-dollar book deal on writing a tell-all about her marriage to Joe. The book will also focus on Joe’s sexuality. “Tina was already planning on writing a book before her marriage to Joe crumbled, but that was going to be about her own life as mom to Jessica and Ashlee, now that idea has been shelved, and Tina is focusing on writing a tell-all about her marriage to Joe,” Gossipcop.com quoted a source close to the couple as saying.
