Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray listed as doubtful, LT Tyron Smith questionable

IRVING — Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray is listed as doubtful, left tackle Tyron Smith has been classified as doubtful and receiver Kevin Ogletree is one of three players who will not play Thursday against Washington.

Murray, who sprained his left foot Oct. 14, missed the Cowboys’ last five games. Smith, who suffered a left high-ankle sprain Sunday in Dallas’ 23-20 overtime victory over Cleveland, participated in practice on a limited basis Tuesday and Wednesday.

Ogletree (concussion) was declared out along with center Phil Costa (ankle) and defensive lineman Sean Lissemore (ankle). Center Ryan Cook was classified as doubtful. He’s been hindered by a sore knee.

Nose tackle Jay Ratliff (groin), safety Charlie Peprah (concussion), safety Danny McCray (hip) and running back Felix Jones (knee) are all listed as questionable.

“I’ll be ready,” McCray said. “I’m going to go out early and warm up and see how it feels. But based on how much it is getting better each day I think I’ll be all right.” Linebacker DeMarcus Ware said he thought Ratliff would probably play “sparingly” Thursday.

Cornerback Mike Jenkins (back), tight end John Phillips (ankle) and fullback Lawrence Vickers (knee) are all probable.
