Hayfield grad Kramer plays for Wartburg men’s basketball team – Post

Hayfield graduate Tanner Kramer is a member of the men’s basketball team at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Kramer is listed as 5-foot-11 junior guard for the Knights.

Wartburg has not opened its regular season yet, but the Knights did have an exhibition game on Nov. 10. In that game, the Knights played Division I Northern Iowa, suffering a 103-50 loss. Kramer came off the bench and played 12 minutes. He finished with three points. Kramer and the Knights opened their regular-season slate at 8 p.m. Friday in the Buzz Levick Tournament, hosted by Wartburg in Waverly.

The Knights play Crown College in the first game and then will play either Grinnell or Rockford on Saturday. Kramer was a regular for the Knights last season. He played in 22 games, starting 15 times. He finished the season with 21 rebounds, 40 assists and four steals, while averaging 3.6 points per game.
