School parade

Students and local veterans will parade through the halls of Bassetti Elementary School after morning announcements at 8 a.m.

Veterans assembly.

A Veterans Day assembly will begin at 9 a.m. at Madison Middle School, featuring choir, band and orchestra performances.

Veterans program

A program honoring veterans will begin at 9 a.m. in the Anson ISD auditorium. A reception will follow. Veterans and family members are invited. Information: 325-823-3361.

Veterans assembly

A Veterans Day assembly and luncheon will begin at 11 a.m. in the Baird High School auditorium. Veterans, active duty military and their families are invited to gather at 10:50 a.m. A Thanksgiving luncheon will follow.

Veterans recognized

A patriotic display and recognition of veterans will be presented during the Abilene High School football game at 7:30 p.m. at Shotwell Stadium.
