Bourbonnais: PianoFest honors veterans

The biennial PianoFest is being held this year — from 1:30-3 p.m. Sunday in the center court of Northfield Square mall, 1600 N. Illinois 50 #590, Bourbonnais.

The free concert is the 11th one, held every two years by the Kankakee Valley Music Teachers Association and King Music. Almost 20 students and teachers will perform piano duets of popular and patriotic music, in honor of Veterans Day, with special selections featuring violin and flute. Veterans present will be honored.

King Music will supply 12 pianos, Dave King will conduct the concert, and Randy King will be the master of ceremonies.
