Nokia’s recently unveiled entry-level Lumia smartphone, Lumia 510 is listed with a price tag of Rs. 9,999 at the online shopping website Flipkart. The official Nokia store, however, still lists the device as ‘coming soon’, without mentioning the price.
Nokia India last week announced what it brands as the ‘cheapest Lumia device in the world’. The Lumia 510 comes with very basic specs. The device runs on Windows Phone 7.5 OS and is powered by an 800MHz Snapdragon S1 processor. The device comes with a 1,300mAh battery.
The Nokia Lumia 510 features a 4-inch WVGA 800 x 480 TFT capacitive touch screen, 256MB of RAM, built-in 4GB storage. It does not have any expansion slot. Nokia offers 7GB of free SkyDrive cloud storage with the new device.

Other features of the Nokia Lumia 510 include a 5MP autofocus camera, People Hub, preloaded Microsoft Office Mobile apps, IE 9 browser, and the company’s mobile navigation and location services Nokia Maps, Drive and Transport.
For connectivity, the device supports GPRS/EDGE, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, GPS/A-GPS, micro-USB, 3.5mm audio connector (AHJ + WP Controls), Dual Transfer Mode and HSDPA/WCDMA.

At the time of launch, Nokia had hinted at the pricing of the device to be below Rs. 11,000, aiming at the budget smartphone market in India. The Nokia Lumia 510 is expected to hit the shelves around Diwali this month.
