The stone mill wheel was pulled off on Saturday 14 July
Work to repair a listed building in Shropshire damaged by vandals will begin on Friday.
A stone mill wheel was pulled from The Buttercross, a Grade I listed building in the centre of Ludlow.
The impact from the wheel falling caused a crack in the wall of the building, which dates from 1746.
English Heritage has now approved a local heritage building specialist to carry out the repairs, the town council have said.
A walkway through the building has been fenced off since the damage was caused in July.
