The Mere Golf Resort Spa has been short-listed for five leading industry awards within first year of trading.

The resort was also named as the winner of ‘The Leisure Tourism Award’ at the Altrincham and Sale Chamber of Commerce Business Awards last week.

Having only been open for seven months, the resort has also been selected as finalists for ‘Hotel of the Year’ by Cheshire Life Food and Drink Awards; ‘Hotel Technology of the Year’ by European Hospitality Awards, and finally two awards from Marketing Cheshire 2012 Annual Awards: ‘Team of the Year’ and ‘Marketing Initiative of the Year.

The Mere Golf Resort Spa was re-launched in March 2012 following a £15 million investment.
