ST. PAUL, Minn. – Two Twin Cities men are behind bars, accused of attacking a man with a one-million-volt stun gun and robbing him.

According to a criminal complaint, the victim had listed a laptop for sale on Craigslist. He agreed to met a possible buyer midnight Sunday, October 21 in the parking lot of the Burger King on 7th Street East and Maria Avenue in St. Paul.

33-year-old Dee King of Anoka and 36-year-old Ronald Sims of Minneapolis allegedly met the man and agreed to buy the computer, before attacking.

The victim told police Sims attacked with the stun gun, causing puncture wounds to his forearm and other scratches. The men took the computer, as well as the victim’s wallet and cell phone.

After the attack, the man asked employees at the Burger King to call police. Officers stopped a car about two miles away at 7th Street West and Leech Street. Officers found the stun gun, but not the victim’s property.

King and Sims are each charged with two counts of aggravated robbery in the first degree. Both have prior criminal convictions.
