Former Stanford wide receiver Doug Baldwin is questionable for the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers because of a shoulder injury.
Former Cal running back Marshawn Lynch (back) was listed as probable.
Also, wide receiver Greg Jennings (groin) is questionable for the Packers’ first road game of the season, but Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy is optimistic.
“Greg looked good today,” McCarthy said Saturday after watching Jennings practice for the second straight day. “He made a big jump from earlier in the week.”
Jennings missed Green Bay’s last game Sept. 13, a win over Chicago.
Eagles: Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (hip) is out for Sunday’s game at Arizona.
Rams-Bears: Running back Steven Jackson was listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against Chicago because of a groin injury. Also, Matt Forte (ankle), the Bears’ featured running back, had already been ruled out of the game.
Jets: New York has parted ways with linebacker Bryan Thomas, its longest-tenured player. Thomas was released a day before the team’s game at Miami to make room on the roster for cornerback Donnie Fletcher, who was signed off the practice squad. The Jets also said tight end Dustin Keller (hamstring) and fullback John Conner (knee) are out for the game. Thomas was the Jets’ first-round draft pick in 2002 out of UAB. He missed most of last season with a torn Achilles tendon but was re-signed to
a one-year, $900,000 contract in March.
