Authors Souraya Christine (“When Is Strong, Strong Enough?”), Imani True (“A Little Sumthin’ Sumthin'”), and An Howard (“Whispers of Words Spoken”) will sign copies of their books at 1 p.m. Saturday at Barnes Noble, 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd.
EVENTS
The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and the Vegas Valley Book Festival will present “An Evening with Cheryl Strayed” at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. The author of “Tiny Beautiful Things” and the memoir “Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Coast Trail” will discuss her works with author Maile Chapman. A book signing and reception will follow the event.
“Cuentos: Tales from the Latino World,” a presentation by storyteller David Gonzalez, will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 30 at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.
The Amazing Reads Book Club meets at 5:30 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of each month at West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd.
