Ask me a question.
WASHINGTON, September 14, 2012 — Beer is a social beverage. Drinking a beer can be quite pleasurable, but enjoying it in an atmosphere with similar-minded friends and strangers alike can create fun times and great memories.
To that end, twice each month, After Hours publishes a calendar of notable beer events covering Maine through North Carolina.
Oktoberfests are springing up seemingly everywhere in the second half of September. Those will not be focused on here so much except to point out the more unique ones, like the six day Oktoberfest capped off with a South Street block party hosted by Brauhaus Schmitz in Philadelphia on Saturday, September 29.
Also of unique interest in the City of Brotherly Love is the premiere of the film Beeradelphia at the World Cafè Live on Thursday, September 27.
