The supply of homes listed for sale in Colorado Springs has fallen almost 14 percent from a year ago, The Gazette reports.
Having so few homes available for purchase — the number was down to 3,863 in August — means houses are selling faster and selling for more than they did a year ago, the newspaper reported, citing data from the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors.
The median price of homes that sold during August rose 10.2 percent, to $210,500, while the average number of days a house spent on the market before selling fell to 74 from 92.
