Randy Moss has caught on with the 49ers.

Randy Moss has managed to do what Terrell Owens, Chad Johnson and Plaxico Burress could not: He is listed as the starting wide receiver on the San Francisco 49ers’ depth chart.
Moss, 35, is attempting a comeback after a season away from the NFL and is listed as the starter opposite Michael Crabtree. Mario Manningham and Kyle Williams are listed as the backups for the 49ers’ 4:30 p.m. (EDT) opener against the Green Bay Packers.
Moss may have played for three teams in a dismal 2010 season, but he’s been a model citizen since signing with the Niners. He’s the oldest member of the offense but still knows how to get downfield and gain separation. The expectation is that he will stretch defenses the way he did in the past.
He caught three passes for 24 yards in the 49ers’ second preseason game.
