As well as the events listed above we also have Spinning, Weaving and Knitting on the 15th 16th of September with demonstrators from Cleveland Fibre Arts.


For our Harvest Celebrations this weekend, we have been working with a group of volunteers as part of a government National Citizens Service scheme, called ‘Do it, Change it, Live it’. 

For their project here they have designed and are going to deliver a Harvest Challenge over the weekend. The challenge is designed to take visitors around the museum grounds, to engage them in the museum and to make it fun, especially for the children. The
Challenge has something for everyone including making animals from
vegetables for the kids and questionnaires for the parents. There is
also a prize at the end for completing the challenge.
