Ten beer events from August 16 to August 31, 2012

Ask me a question.

WASHINGTON, August 15, 2012 — Beer is a social beverage. Drinking a beer can be quite pleasurable, but enjoying it in a convivial atmosphere with similar-minded friends and strangers alike can create fun times and great memories.

To that end, twice each month, After Hours publishes a calendar of notable beer events covering Maine through North Carolina.

Here in the second half of August, you can drink a fine brew in a castle, by the water, paired with ice cream, while listening to live German music, or in a relatively more serious, educational environment.

Do you know of a special beer event that should be listed here? Be sure to drop a note to the columnist, Bryan Kolesar, and provide all of the important details.
