Cows and Cones, Ledyard’s only ice cream shop was listed for sale Thursday and for $1.2 million dollars one lucky buyer can have a bottomless ice cream cone, a farm market and nearly 18 acres of land plus buildings.

According to the listing, the 18 acre property includes the farm market and ice cream shop, 12 buildings and 5 greenhouses. The property is in a mixed zone and is listed as a business opportunity, land and retail.

The property is located in the Gales Ferry design district and has two wells and a pond.

The location is a popular community gathering spot and has been a host to several fundraisers and events. People come to the Cows and Cones in the summer for ice cream and to meet the farm animals and owner Pete Bargmann offers hay rides in the fall.
