Frogmore Outfitter building on St. Helena for sale

About a year after Frogmore Outfitters Ltd. opened at 808 Sea Island Parkway, St. Helena Island, the building is listed for sale.

The building and business are owned by brothers Eddie and Tony Yahav, who also own Barefoot Bubba’s stores at 2135 Sea Island Parkway, St. Helena Island, and 828 Bay St., Beaufort.

Eddie Yahav said the building was renovated two years ago and the brothers originally tried to rent it. However, after seven months, they decided to open Frogmore Outfitters Ltd. last June so the building was not standing vacant, he said. It sold clothing, tourist items and novelties.

Now, the brothers are interested in selling either the building by itself or the building and business, Eddie Yahav said. A few weeks ago, they listed the building for sale at $425,000, and some potential buyers have looked at it for everything from office space to a bar, he said. The 2,000-square-foot building has about 20 parking spaces.

The brothers opened the downtown Beaufort location of Barefoot Bubba’s during the winter, in the former home of Lipsitz Shoes.
