In anticipation of the new school year Seminole County Public Schools will hold open houses at each of its schools to help prepare students. School will begin Aug. 13 in Seminole County.

Listed below are dates and times for open houses in the Sanford/Lake Mary area. For details on the following information contact the individual school.

Elementary Schools

• Bentley Elementary – Aug. 1, kindergarten, 5 to 6 p.m.; August 9, 1st through 5th grade, 4 to 6 p.m.

• Crystal Lake Elementary ¬– Aug. 10, kindergarten through 5th grade, 10 a.m. to noon

• Geneva Elementary – Aug. 10, kindergarten through 5th grade, 10 a.m. to noon

• Goldsboro Elementary – Aug. 10, kindergarten through 5th grade, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Hamilton Elementary – Aug. 9, kindergarten through 5th grade; Two sessions: 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. and 6:30 to 7:00 p.m.

• Heathrow Elementary – Aug. 10, kindergarten through 5th grade, 10:30 a.m. to noon

• Idyllwilde Elementary: Aug. 9, kindergarten only 6 to 8 p.m.; Aug. 10, Pre-K, 1st through 5th grade, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

• Lake Mary Elementary – Aug. 9, kindergarten, 9 to 11 a.m.; 1st through 5th grade, 5 to 7 p.m.

• Midway Elementary – Aug. 9, kindergarten curriculum night (parents only), 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.; Aug. 10, Pre-K, kindergarten through 5th grade, 9 a.m. to noon.

• Pine Crest Elementary – Aug. 10, kindergarten, 10 to 11:30 a.m., 1st through 5th grade, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

• Wicklow Elementary – Aug. 8, kindergarten, 6:30 p.m.; Aug. 9, Pre-K, 1st through 5th grade, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Wilson Elementary – Aug. 8, kindergarten curriculum night (parents only), 6 to 7 p.m.; Aug. 9, kindergarten through 5th grade, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Middle Schools

• Greenwood Lakes Middle – Aug. 9, 6th grade, 9 to 11:30 a.m., 7th and 8th grades, 1 to 3:30 p.m.; Open House, Sept. 6, 6 p.m.

• Markham Woods Middle – Aug. 9, 9 a.m. to noon; Open House, Sept. 13, 6:30 p.m.

• Millennium Middle – Aug. 9, 7th and 8th grades, 9 to 11:30 a.m., Aug. 10, 6th grade, 9 to 11:30 a.m.

• Sanford Middle – August 10, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Open House, Aug. 23, 6:30 p.m.

High Schools
