Rightmove is collaborating with Bristol Zoo in a bid to raise money for a new gorilla house at the south-west tourist attraction through an online marketing campaign.
The property website is listing the gorilla house on the site, with Bristol Zoo Gardens seeking to raise £1 million to enlarge their enclosure.
Climbing facilities, ropes, play equipment and a new pool will feature at the house, which will also include an enhanced viewing facility for visitors.
Rightmove director Miles Shipside explained: “Being on Rightmove helps thousands of sellers every year and we’re hopeful that listing the gorillas’ house on our site will raise awareness of their home-moving plans.”
He added that the listing does not differ from many other houses on the site, featuring a large outdoor space, water features and grade II listed status.
The new enclosure will nearly double the space available for the resident western lowland gorillas.
