The current median asking price of a business for sale in Honolulu is $307,500, based on 28 businesses listed for sale on www.BizBuySell.com. That’s 3 percent higher than the median price for a business at the end of the second quarter in 2011, which was $299,500.

The listed businesses had a median revenue of $320,809 during the second quarter of this year, compared to $401,046 at the same time last year, according to the data.

However, median cash flow for the listed businesses was $110,814 for the second quarter of this year, which is 14 percent higher than the median cash flow of $97,000 during the second quarter of 2011.
