RICHMOND HEIGHTS
BURGLARY, LOGANBERRY RIDGE: A home listed for sale was ransacked late afternoon June 22. A real-estate agent noticed a few windows broken out and the master bedroom was disheveled. Copper pipe was stolen from the basement. No finger prints were found but the thieves left behind a claw hammer, hack saw and a piece of copper pipe.
PUBLIC INDECENCY, KARL DRIVE: Laying face-down in a driveway with shorts around your ankles is humiliating, but a Richmond Heights woman, 55, was found in this state, as well as with urine all over her shorts June 22 at 11:20 p.m. She smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. The woman was taken to University Hospitals. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.409 percent. She passed out at the hospital and was charged with disorderly conduct. When she woke up she was told to turn herself in at the police station.
BURGLARY, LOXLEY DRIVE: A man returned home June 25 to find his doors wide-open and television and surround sound system missing. There were no signs of forced entry, but the man was not sure if he locked the doors before leaving. There are no suspects at this time.
BURGLARY, BRUSHVIEW DRIVE: Copper pipes were stolen from a home for sale June 26. The thieves got into the home by breaking a basement window. No finger prints were found and there are no suspects.
THEFT, RUTH ELLEN DRIVE: A woman who lives at Dorchester Village Apartments had her storage locker broken into June 27. Four pieces of luggage valued at $600 were stolen. There were a large amount of similar thefts reports that occurred around the holidays last year.
