Win tickets to the Voewood Festival

After its hugely successful inaugural year in 2011, the Voewood arts festival returns this August bank holiday (24 – 27 August 2012) in the beautiful setting of its Grade I listed gardens with a programme of bespoke literary, musical and artistic events.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can rub shoulders with their literary heroes; authors attending include Diana Athill, Giles Coren, SJ Watson and Louisa Young. In between GT pitstops on the lawn, there’ll be immersive theatre, literary counseling in the Bibliotherapy tent and the chance to mingle with authors and artists at the Book Hive bookshop.

Musical highlights include the legendary Billy Bragg performing a special Woody Guthrie set, and performances from indie rock band British Sea Power and Brit nominee Beth Rowley.

The team from Brindisa will be cooking a special menu of Spanish tapas from dawn until dusk and Hendrick’s Gin return, providing cocktails and drinks at the Libation Library Bar, a relaxing environment from which to admire Voewood House.and an invitation to the private cocktail party in the house on the Saturday of the Festival.
