Unique Property For Sale in the Comox Valley

COMOX: A Comox Valley realtor is hoping social media will help play a role in the sale of an exclusive mid-island property listed for $2.9 million.

Realtor Dave Procter of Remax Dave Procter Realty holds the listing for “The Filberg House” a unique home built in 1959 and designed by Canadian architech Arthur Erickson. The house was built for Robert Filberg, the son of a Comox Valley logging tycoon.

The house is situated on 7.91 acres of property high above the Comox Bluffs, overlooking the ocean, Goose Spit, and parts of the Comox Valley. The asking price also includes a second home on the property which is used for rental income as well as an 1850 10 car garage which can also be used as a hanger for a private helicopter.

Procter is promoting the sale of the home to buyers throughout British Columbia and abroad through social media as well as Remax websites and publications. He believes the home will eventually be purchased by someone located in the lower mainland.
