Paradis seen house hunting ahead of split announcement

Vanessa Paradis was spotted house-hunting in Beverly Hills before her split from Johnny Depp was announced.
The French singer is thought to have been making arrangements to move on from the “Rum Diaries” actor for some time and viewed houses priced between US$7 million and $11 million in Los Angeles, including a seven bedroom home which is listed at $7,995,000, on May 23.
The property features eight bathrooms, a media and games room, pool and sauna and is set over 7,580 square feet while a second six-bedroom property she viewed is on the market for $10,995,000 and has a separate guest house.
The couple only announced their split Monday but Vanessa was likely making plans to find a new home for herself and their two kids Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, nine for some time.
Vanessa and Johnny have been the subject of break-up rumours for months with pals blaming their move from France to California for the separation.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “It’s so sad. Johnny and Vanessa gambled that they could move to California and be on long stays on film locations for his career.
“They bet that things would continue there as they had in the south of France. They lost that bet.”
The pair started dating in 1998 after they met in the Costes Hotel in Paris while he was filming ‘The Ninth Gate’.
