Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) — A variety of businesses and groups will be celebrating Father’s Day this Sunday with freebies, discounts or special events.

items listed include a coupon from Denny’s for a free Pancake Puppies sundae with an entree; a $5 Dad’s Bucks Bonus Card when you buy at $25 gift card from Hooter’s; a $15 bonus coupon from Ruby Tuesday; a free yogurt from TCBY; and more.

Sky Combat Ace in Henderson is offering dads its popular Afterburner package at a special rate of $299. The Afterburner package lets dads dream of flying like a real fighter pilot.

“Bodies…The Exhibition” at Luxor Las Vegas is teaming up with the American Heart and Stroke Association to offer complimentary blood pressure, body mass index and glucose testing to educate dads about their current state of health. Dads will also receive 20% off admission with a paid admission from 1 to 5 p.m. June 17.

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas at The Venetian is offering free admission for dads with the purchase of an adult or child ticket.

KISS by Monster Mini Golf, 4503 Paradise Road, is offering half-priced miniature golf and a free KISS gift for dads on June 17.

Qua Baths Spa at Rio Las Vegas is offering a couple of specials for Father’s Day. The Works ($350, 75 minutes) includes a haircut, straight razor shave, hot towel facial and moisturizing scalp treatment. The VO TKO Treatment ($120, 50 minutes) is a deep cleansing and nourishing facial designed specifically for men.

Aque Sulis Spa at JW Marriott Las Vegas is offering a variety of specials including the Organic Male Facial ($95); Tune-Up Massage ($95); Back Buff ($59); Man-i-cure ($35); and a Foot Detail ($50).

DINING

Simon Restaurant Lounge inside Palms Place is hosting a special Father’s Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Menu includes a New York strip steak, loaded macaroni and cheese and pineapple upside down cake. Cost is $49 per adult, $29 for children ages 12 and under.

Fogo de Chao, 360 E. Flamingo Road, will give dads a complimentary lunch or dinner card for a future visit if they dine at Fogo de Chao on Father’s Day. The restaurant is an authentic Southern Brazilian steakhouse.

Station Casino’s restuarants and buffets will offer a variety of specials for Father’s Day.

SPECIAL EVENTS

A special event includes the Ultimate Father’s Challenge Car Motorcycle Show from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at Canyon Ridge, 6200 W. Lone Mountain Road.

The Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority will host a special celebration to pay tribute to men beginning at 11 a.m. June 16 at Booker Elementary, 2277 Martin Luther King Blvd. North. County Commissioner Lawrence Weekly will serve as master of ceremonies for the event. There will be a cookout, face painting, games and raffle prizes.

Dear Ol’ Dad’s Day will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the las Vegas Municipal Pool, 431 E. Bonanza Road. Cost is $1 for children 4-17, $2 for adults; and $1.50 for senior citizens.

Kidville at Tivoli Village, 420 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 130, are inviting Las Vegas families to celebrate Father’s Day at its indoor space from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 for nonmembers. Activities include rock wall climbing, tumbling and zip-lining.
