There will be parades and prayers, flag-raisings and wreath-layings.
Across Northeast Pennsylvania, people will observe Memorial Day by gathering this weekend to honor America’s war dead.
Whether it is the 145th annual Memorial Day ceremony at Scranton’s Nay Aug Park – one of the country’s oldest – or any of a multitude of others planned across the region, those wishing to help remember the men and women who have given their lives in defense of the nation will find plenty of opportunity to participate.
