The Bel-Air residence of Zsa Zsa Gabor and husband Frederic Prinz von Anhalt has been listed for sale at $14.9 million. The property is up for sale again after having been listed — and then pulled from the market — in the last year.

The 8,878-square-foot Hollywood Regency-style house on Bel Air Road includes seven bedrooms and a swimming pool on more than an acre of land.

Listing agent Robert Erickson of Rodeo Realty says Gabor, 95, is selling the property, which the Hungary-born celebrity has owned since 1970, because it has “gotten too big to manage” as she deals with health issues.

The house had been put up for sale last summer at $15 million, but was reduced to $12.9 million in late September before eventually being pulled from the market earlier this year. Erickson believes a previous listing agent had priced the property too low. “We now feel it is priced to fair market value,” he said.

Gabor has hosted Queen Elizabeth and Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush at the house, according to Erickson. “It’s a very elegant home, with Louis XIV furniture, chandeliers and an oval entry. It’s made for entertaining,” he says.

The actress’ office is filled with posters of movies she has starred in and decorated with awards she has received over the years, Erickson said. “The home feels like an homage to an era that has gone by.”

Gabor, who has been married nine times and appeared in the 1950s films Moulin Rouge and We’re Not Married!, has claimed that Elvis Presley and Howard Hughes lived at the residence before her, but that could not be verified.

Erickson shares the listing with Roger Perry of Rodeo Realty. The duo will help Gabor and her husband search for a new home; Erickson said they will likely move to a condominium on Wilshire Boulevard near Westwood.
