Schedule of events
•Some activities require tickets that can be purchased for 50 cents each or in groups of 25 for $10. Activities that require tickets will have the amount of tickets listed in the description. These tickets cannot be used for carnival rides, vendor purchases or food purchases.
•Items that require cash payment are marked with a $$.
•Preregistration for most events has already closed. Participants can still register the day of an event but with no guarantee they will receive a T-shirt for events that have one. Events with a registration fee have the amount listed in the description.
Friday, May 18
•D J Shows Carnival: 5-11 p.m. at the parking lot in front of the Courthouse Annex, Ninth and Loomis. $$
•Grub Stations (food booths) sponsored by local clubs and organizations: 5-11 p.m. At the carnival site, Ninth and Loomis. $$
•Live Entertainment: Mando Mammas, Walnut River String Band. 5:30 p.m. Parking lot at Eighth and Millington. Bring lawn chairs. FREE
•Board of Realtors Hot Dog Feed: 5:30-7 p.m. Parking lot at Eighth and Millington. $5.
•Chicken Drop Bingo sponsored by PrairieLand Partners: 6-7:30 p.m. Parking lot at Eighth and Millington. Two tickets.
•Lil’ Pardner Rodeo sponsored by RCB Bank: 6:30 p.m. Decorated bicycle parade (bikes, trikes and wagons are allowed). Line up in the parking lot behind Grace Episcopal Church on Seventh at 6 p.m. Parade continues to Eighth and Main. FREE
•Mobile Game Den sponsored by Union State Bank: 6-10 p.m. Video games for all ages at the Courthouse Annex, Ninth and Loomis. $$.
•Farmhand Olympics sponsored by Valley Co-Op: 7 p.m., Eighth and Millington. A race to do your chores! Fun for all ages! Adults five tickets, kids three tickets.
•Cow Patty Toss sponsored by PraireLand Partners: 7:30 p.m. How far can you toss a cow patty? Eighth and Millington. Adults five tickets, kids three tickets.
•Movie: “True Grit” with John Wayne. Millington and Ninth. Bring lawn chairs. FREE
Saturday, May 19

•Elrod’s Cirque gravel road bicycle challenge: 7:30 a.m. Start at Eighth and Main. Preregistration deadline has passed. Participants may register the day of the event, but are not guaranteed a free t-shirt. $$
•Sales in the Corral citywide garage sale: 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Parking lot at Eighth and Millington. Registration deadline has passed.. Registration deadline has passed.
•Country Peddlers Round-Up: 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Vender booths at the parking lot on Eighth and Millington.
•Bob Tyler’s Classic Car Display: 9 a.m.-12 p.m., 621 Main. Adults four tickets, kids two tickets.
•Eddie Eagle Gun Safety: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Lindley TV and Appliance, 721 Main. FREE
•Buckaroo Bike Ride sponsored by CornerBank: 8 a.m. check-in at Island Park Lions Pavilion. There will be a 9 a.m. bike safety course by the Winfield Police Department before the ride begins. This event is for kids 12 and under. Preregistration deadline has passed. Children may register the day of the event, but with no guarantee of a t-shirt. $5
•Children’s Cowboy Art sponsored by Advantage Family Chiropractic: 11 a.m., 123 E Ninth. Join Cindy Altman in making a cow mask and decorating your own cowboy hat
•Stationary Tractor Display: 12-8 p.m., East Eighth and Millington parking lot.
•3 V 3 Basketball Tournament sponsored by Winfield Recreation Commission: 1 p.m. Fee is $36 per team. Registration deadline is Tuesday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m. Event will be held at the Recreation Center.
•Sidewalk Chalking Art Contest sponsored by Winfield Rotary Club: Registration begins 1 p.m. at 1020 Main, in front of Hometown True Value. Chalking begins at 1:15 p.m. Two tickets.
Roundup Time games for all ages: 1-4 p.m. at Eighth and Millington. Games include an airplane toss by GE Aviation, bean bag toss, car race sponsored by Kline Motors, cupcake walk by HK PEO, duck pond, face painting by 4-H Junior Leaders, haystack money grab sponsored by Community National Bank, pizza toss sponsored by Pizza Hut, ring toss by Coca-Cola, sunflower planting by Gottlob Lawn and Landscape, and a Winfield Fire Department display.
•Bingo co-sponsored by Winfield Main Street and Creative Community Living: 1 p.m. in the parking lot at Eighth and Millington. Play for prizes. Two tickets per card.
•White Tiger Taekwondo Demonstration: 2-2:30 p.m. in the parking lot at Eighth and Millington. FREE
•Wheel of Fortune: 4 p.m. at the Eighth and Millington parking lot. One ticket.
•Saturday Night Grub by Winfield Main Street: 5:30-7:30 p.m. Pulled pork sandwich meal. $$
•Boot Scootin’ Lip Sync Contest sponsored by KPM: 5:30 p.m. at Ninth and Millington. Preregistration has closed. Participants can still register the day of the event. $5.
•Kiss The Pig results sponsored by Cowley County Young Professionals: 7:25 p.m. at Eighth and Millington. Join the crowd to see the “winner” who gets to kiss the little piggy!
•Musical event presented by Marquee Performing Arts Center: 7:30-9 p.m. at Eighth and Millington.
