Mother’s Day Events, Sales and More

This Sunday will be the annual celebration of moms, as mothers day will roll into Windham and every other community.

Several businesses are featuring sales or events to circulate around the holiday.

We have listed some of those businesses below.

1. BELLA VINO AUSTRIAN WINE TASTING/ART EXHIBIT: To celebrate Mother’s Day, there will be an art exhibit and Austrian wine tasting at Bella Vino on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. They will have 8 Austrian Wines being poured by Megan from Crush distributers and Rafael Flores, co-owner of Artisanal Cellars in Maine. THE Mother’s Day Celebration will include lots of food to sample and a flower and chocolates for every mom. The art exhibit will be presented by Drew Irvine, a local artist who resides in Windham. Drew’s expressions “pop” as he combines the use of multiple mediums on canvas. His style comes to life with the application of acrylics, water color, pastels and occasionally, he will finish a piece with touches of spray paint and pens.

Local Windham resident Tuyet Martin will also be here showcasing her hand made egg rolls
