TOURNEY WINNERS LISTED: The team of Bryon Linseisen and Monte Robertson took top honors with a total weight of 14.35 pounds to win the Tuesday Night Open Pot Bass Tournament at Martin Creek.
Second place (13.55) and the big bass (5.60) went to Tuff and Randy Huffman. In third was the team of Earnum Rinkle and Jim McCann (9.70), followed by Dana Vincent and Tracy Hunt (9.50), and Ricky Jacks and Joey Pettit (9.15).
Tournament director Derek Bartley also announced a “Winner Take All” side pot that will be an optional $20.

BREAM TOURNAMENT: The 21st annual VFW Post 1183 Bream Tournament is set for Saturday, May 12, at Alley Creek Pavilion on Lake O’ the Pines.
Entry fee for children (under 12) is $10. Prices include $100 for first, $75 for second, $50 for third, $25 for fourth and fifth, and $100 for the big bream of the day.
Entry fee for ages 13-17 is $12.50. Prizes include cash scholarships for first ($400), second ($300) and third ($200), and $100 for the big bream of the day.
Adult entry fee is $12.50, with prizes of $500 for first, $300 for second and $200 for third. The big bream of the day prize is $100 (increases with each entry).

The board of directors of the Asbury House Child Enrichment Center will host the second annual Sporting Clays Challenge on Saturday, June 2, at the Prairie Creek Ranch in Gladewater.
Proceeds from the event will go toward student scholarships.
Team and advertising sponsorships are available in a variety of ways, including: (1) Stand Sponsor — $100 name on event signage; (2) Display Sponsor — $250 visual/product display on course, 2 lunch tickets, recognition on event signage; (3) Silver Sponsor — $500 one team of 5 shooters, 5 lunch tickets and event signage; (4) Gold Sponsor — $1,000 two teams of 5 shooters, 10 lunch tickets and recognition on signage; (5) Platinum Sponsor — $2,000 special recognition, two teams of 5 shooters, 10 lunches and additional publicity; (6) Individual Shooter — $100 one admission to tournament and 1 lunch ticket.
There will be a drawing for a 12-gauge automatic Beretta shotgun. The winner must be present to win.

Asbury House is a mission of the North District United Methodist Churches and provides quality childcare for children ages 3-5 in a Christian environment. Asbury House serves financially disadvantaged families whose parents must work or attend school to qualify for the program. Fees are based on family income.

PANOLA WINS EVENT: Winners of the first Eagle Scout Jason Craft Memorial Sporting Clays Tournament included: winners, representing Panola County 4-H, Katelynn Price, Keith Brevard, Bo Brevard, Dillon Brevard and Kodi Propes. Second went to Harrison County 4-H, Jake Smelley, Casey Hillard, Justin Pepper, Tom Smelley and Landon Degner. Third went to General Dynamics Sat-Com, Jeff Hurlburt, Matt Lingle, Derek Phillips, Mike White and Daylen Borders.
Top Shot Adult was James Hurlburt, who hit 86 out of 100 targets. Top Shot Youth honors were shared by Casey Hillard and Bo Brevard, who each had 73 hits.
Placing team members and Top Shots received trophies designed by members of Troop 198, featuring the Boy Scout emblem atop a cedar base.
All participants were treated to a dinner prepared by Gail Turner and Paula Wise of Troop 198.

TOURNEY SITES CHANGED: Tournament sites for the next two “Bass Fishing at its Best” events have changed.
The May 12 event will be held at Lake Tyler out of Lake Tyler Marina.
June’s event (June 2) will be held out of the Johnson Creek public ramp on Lake O’ the Pines.
