Corporate Citizens by Corporate Responsibility Magazine. NU was the top
ranking electric utility and was ranked 31st overall. It was the second
highest ranking company among all energy-related firms on the 2012 list.
NU’s ratings were strongest for its policies supporting philanthropy,
human rights and corporate governance.

annual ranking of companies in the Russell 1000 Index based on an
independent assessment of company policies in areas including
philanthropy, the environment, employee relations, human rights,
corporate governance, finance and philanthropy.
