Family Storytimes: Mondays, April 2 – April 23 or Tuesdays, April 3 – April 24 at 10:30 a.m.

All ages, no reservations needed. Stories are the same both days.

Educating Trainman: A Mother and Son’s Autism Story: Monday, April 9 at 6:30 p.m.

Stefan and Barb Kavan, a young man with autism and his mother, will present their experience with autism, focusing on social acceptance and developing friendships through special interests. They coauthored a children’s book called “Trainman” published on this topic. This program is aimed at adults and families with school aged children. 

Basic Internet Class: Wednesday, April 11 at 6:30 p.m.

A single-session class lasting around an hour (there’s time for questions afterwards) covering popular web sites, Internet safety etc. Held in the computer area upstairs. Registration required. Call or stop by to register. 

Award-winning, best-selling Author Lauraine Snelling: Friday, April 13 at 2 p.m. 

She’ll be discussing her writing and signing books (books will be available for sale).

All listed events are free and open to the public. Events held in the large meeting room unless noted. Call the library for any last minute updates.
