A CLASSIC period mansion with arguably some of the best views in Brisbane will be auctioned next month.

Eversley House at 6 Mackellar St in Teneriffe has been listed for sale by LJ Hooker in New Farm.

The huge, historic 26-bedroom, 10-bathroom stately home – with two street frontages – is located high up on Teneriffe Hill. Built over three levels, with some classic early 20th-century architecture, it sits on a huge parcel of land, around 1430sq m, and has some spectacular and unrivalled city skyline views.

On the inside, it has some stylish dining and sitting areas, as well as reception rooms and has been decked out with a full commercial kitchen.

Eversley House has been used as a community care facility for the past 50 years, but has been placed on the market as a deceased estate auction.

It will be auctioned on site by agents Claudia March and Brett Greensill on Saturday, May 5, at 1pm.

Meanwhile, four of 13 properties for sale at Tom Offermann Real Estate’s gala auction in Noosa on Thursday night sold under the hammer.

Of those properties that sold, a four-bed riverside home at 36 The Promontory, Noosa Waters, went for $2.247 million and a similar nearby property at 1 The Promontory, Noosa Waters, fetched more than $2 million.
