1. Lincoln Park.

Lincoln Park is always a good choice. You can spend the day or just a couple of hours at the many Lincoln Park attractions from the free admission world-class Lincoln Park Zoo to the Farm in the Zoo.  Tulips, azaleas and more usher in the season at the Lincoln Park Conservatory’s free Spring Flower Show.  In addition to the spring flowers, the conservatory is a thing of beauty–built under glass between the years of 1890 and 1895, the compact structure houses exotic plants, palms, and ferns.  The conservatory features four main rooms: the Orchid House, Show House, Fern Room, and Palm House.  Overlooking the pond in Lincoln Park, North Pond Restaurant will be serving a special Easter Brunch that you may want to check out. 2. Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt.

Head to Donovan Park for their annual Easter Egg Hunt and don’t forget your flashlight as this hunt takes place at night.  The hunt features candy, prize-filled Easter eggs and pictures with the Bunny. 3620 S. Lituanica,  7 to 9p.m. Fees: $3.  Age Range: 2-3 years 7-7:45pm, 4-5 years 8-9pm. Friday, April 6, 2012.

3.  Doggie Easter Egg Hunt.

Dogs will be sporting their Easter finest at this years Doggie Spring Bonnet Parade and Egg Hunt at Horner Park. The hunt also features pictures with the Easter Bunny. $5, The event takes place in the back of the building (fieldhouse) on the hill. Horner Park,  2741 W. Montrose Avenue, Saturday, April 7, 10 a.m. – noon.

4.. Trump Tower Brunch and Petting Zoo.

Trump Tower’s Sixteen Restaurant will be offering an eggstraordinary Easter Brunch complete with an Easter Egg Hunt, complimentary pictures with the Easter Bunny, and a petting zoo featuring adorable ducks, chicks, and other cute farm animals on Sunday, April 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Trump International Hotel Tower, 410 N. Wabash Ave., 16th Floor.  Sixteen’s Easter brunch costs $125 for adults and $35 for children (under 8 years of age).

5. Lambs Farm Easter Bunny Brunch.

Lambs Farm‘s traditional Easter Bunny Brunch is a favorite for many. Families can walk the grounds before or after brunch to visit shops including the pet shop with live dogs and cats available for adoption–plus visit Wiggles the cow and other animals at their outdoor farmyard, play a round of miniature golf or ride the miniature train.  The Easter Bunny will be walking the grounds and the restaurant distributing eggs to children.  Bunny Brunch, April 6, 7, and *. $15.95, Kids free, 23 months and under. $7.95 for activities. 6. Easter Bunny Cruise.
Celebrate the holiday aboard the Spirit of Chicago with a buffet,  DJ entertainment, dancing, goodie bags for the kids and an appearance by the Easter Bunny.  Cruise: 12:30pm to 2:30pm. Price: $52.90 per adult, $31.95 per child age 3-12.

7. Celebrate National Caramel Popcorn Day.

Enjoy a free Easter Weekend complimentary treat size serving of CaramelCrisp® on Friday, April 6, at any of Chicago’s Garrett Popcorn Shops as they commemorate National Caramel Popcorn Day.  11a.m. -2 p.m. (limit one per person).
