French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier designed the risque costumes for Ballet Preljocaj’s not-for-children adaptation of the Brothers Grimm tale this weekend at the Kennedy Center.

Keep your fingers crossed for a breezy day. The annual Kite Festival takes over the Washington Monument grounds with demonstrations, competitions and the chance to make your own high-flying creation.
