UFC president Dana White and UFC director of Canadian operations Tom Wright are in Calgary today for a press conference, where they are expected to announce the UFC’s Alberta debut.

The event will likely take place on July 21 at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Wright will discuss the event further on TSN Radio 1050 today at 3:15pm et, while White will be a guest on Off The Record tomorrow at 5pm et/2pm pt.

A UFC media guide already listed the event as UFC 149 pay-per-view in Calgary.

The UFC is hoping to make two other stops in Canada this year, with events in Montreal and Toronto.
